In short: A great race, exceptional organisation, great course, great start/finish location. The weather was great and the post race facilities were good. A real treat of a race.

In short: All been said below. A great race.
In full: Pretty much everything you'd want in a marathon. A big shout in particular to the marshalls who were excellent at some quite tricky crossings and the enthusiastic supporters who traversed the course to give warm and vocal support. Super!

In short: Excellent race
In full: The route is very good, with hardly any conflict between runners and traffic - the zillions of marshals kept them well separated

In short: Fab!
In full: Wonderful race with the friendliest, most supportive marshalls ever. At the end of the race, one of the marshalls was leaving just as I was heading back to my car, which was parked a long way away, and she drove me right to it. Thanks Margaret, you made my day!

In short: If you are going to run a PB, it'll be here
In full: The course is not pancake flat but in a marathon, you don't want it to be. The undulations are very small and its a perfect PB course.

The grandstand finish is good fun and the hot drinks & hot showers help this race stand out - well done on that.

In Abingdon, the general public were all very supportive and a big shout goes out to the lady in her 60s/70s who cycled past us shouting about having to speed off and not support us because she was late for the hairdressers. Genius.

Marshalls were excellent, though I am still not sure about the loud hailer at 24 miles :o)

All in all an excellent day topped off by a seven minute PB. Nice.
