In short: Mad but Glad! In full: I did the mad dog, so did my cousin and even my 10year old even ran the crazy pups! My 10 year old came 7th and he is still talking about so. So you young uns get your name down and enter this wonderful event!
No hesitation in recommending....maybe organise a longer run later in the year? Go on, you know you want to!
In short: My brother's and mine first 10k. It was superb, great organisation, friendly, helpful organisers, warm fellow runners. Good goodies. Thanks for a most enjoyable event. I would, indeed have, sang it's praises. Will certainly return. Date of review: February 16, 2012
In short: Well organised and fun! In full: This was the first time I'd done this race and only my second 10k. I was encouraged to enter by feedback I'd read in RunnersWorld and wasn't disappointed. I entered on the 31st December and from this point to the actual race day I got several emails to keep me up to date with what was going on and race day tips. The weather took a turn for the worst the week before but Adrian kept us up to date with weather reports and encouraging promises of non cancellation!!! The day itself was really organised, lots of marshals on the car park and along the course to cheer you on. Free massage before and after was a welcome treat too! All in all a great day and a personal best for me! Thanks to all involved and see you next year! Date of review: February 16, 2012
