In short: Great race
In full: Excellent organisation and a challenge to all runners. You know you've endured a tough run when the calves ache on a Monday morning. And as a fellow finisher remarked to me at the end. "That's a proper half marathon". Enough said. Thank you Liversedge.

In short: Enjoyable, but tough
In full: This was my first time - and I was expecting hills, but maybe not so steep and long! Some of those downhills are a killer! Nice, friendly, well organised small race...will definately be back.

In short: Challenging hills but worth the effort!
In full: Well organised, friendly. Support along the way. Definitely not a stroll in the park but a good one to do if you need to get some hill training in! As I run in Sheffield this one suited me fine!

In short: A challenging race, well organised by the enthusiastic Roberttown Road Runners.
In full: This half marathon is very well organised, from the marshaled car parking to a welcoming race centre and competent, cheerful race marshaling. The course is hilly (285m rise)with very few flat sections. Luckily, the weather cooperated after a week of sub-zero temps and constant forecasts of snow or sleet.

In short: Brilliant....once it's over!
In full: Some of the hills are tough, and as you plumet down the hill at 5 miles, you're just thinking, what goes down, has to come back up again. Some really challenging parts but well worth the effort. Marshalls excellent and friendly. One of those races that makes you think, "wow, I'm glad I did that" (although only AFTER the finish line - quite the opposite on the way round!)

In short: Challenging, friendly and fun
In full: I did it last year and enjoyed it enough to come back, shaving a whole 18 seconds off my time. Really friendly, well organised and the hills add plenty of spice

In short: Excellent organisation
In full: THank you Robert town. Have been eyeing this up for several years and took the plunge. Yes it is hilly and hard in places. It is really well oragnised. Plenty of marshalls and saw us across dodgy roads and very supportive. Got a respecatable time and think I will be back next year. Thanks from one of Stadium Runners.
