In short: Well worth doing, a good early year challenge, Don't expect a fast time.
In full: Very friendly and well organised. Hard course.
The gents urinals are quite innovative. Some of the best value pot race food anywhere. (These last 2 points are not connected !)

In short: Very enjoyable race, but hills were tough, I carried on running up the hill from hell and as a result struggled afterwards.. Well organised and friendly, many thanks to the organisers.

In short: Good organisation, well marshelled, testing route, very friendly.
In full: Very good race, pre and post massage a bargin at £2:50. Police marshelled course where traffic was busy. Very nice long sleeved t shirt at finish and very respectably priced tea/coffees at race hq. Not a route for total beginners, but very satisfying if you get a decent time as it's all up or down all the way round.

In short: A reet Yorkshire treat
In full: Hilly: yes; Exposed: you bet; Challenging: definitely, but never dull and what you lose on those steep ascents I'm sure you more than make up flying down the descents. Great race and atmosphere. Plus I love the long sleeved T-shirt at the end.
