In short: Once again, brilliant fun!
In full: As a local this is a forest I know well. Enjoyed the course and, as one of the slower ones really appreciated the encouragement.
The starting in waves is a good idea although by the time the waves for the slower people have started the whole day has gone.
The organisation was excellent and the start is made to be fun. This is the third Rat Race event I have done ( including the much missed this year Green Belter) . Yes it is a race but it is made to be fun for those who may not be the fast.
The technical tee is very useful, very chunky
medal and well stocked goody bag. The only thing is that I see from the trusts
That 40% of the finishers were women.... Not sure I can really use the shaving cream! You do women's tee shirts ( although they are very short I had to have a man's) why not a women's goody bag? Or better still a unisex one!!

In short: Amazing views and atmosphere
In full: Having completed the event in Forest of Dean last year, I was expecting a race of equal measure - the organisers did not disappoint.

A perfect course for PB hunters and beginners – you immediately start to enjoy the scenic route set out. The first bit of sunshine in 21 days did show with large muddy areas of the course but don’t think anyone really minded.
The hill section at the end did take me by surprise but made it all the more rewarding once crossing the finish line.

Organisation from start to finish was great and was nice to be able to relax in the event village afterwards rather than rushing off.

Would definitely look to run this again next year.

In short: Fantastic day out with a nice run thrown in.
In full: Would recommend this to anyone. Will deffo return next year with bigger teams. So well organised with a superb medal and goody bag. To top it off a free massage before or after the race. Make sure you bring your family if the weather is fine.

In short: Beautiful location for a great day and 10k off road
In full: A brilliant idea to have this race in such a lovely place. I benefitted from arriving later and being in the park car park so no mud probs. Good organisation and the wave start was a great idea. Loved the scenery and atmosphere. Only small disappointment was that my goodie bag was half empty - I didn't get any mags! Better do it again next year to make up for it ;-))

In short: Excellent run, great scenery and well organised
In full: A really good race, slick organisation, really nice course on mainly fast flowing trails with a killer hill to finish.
Would definitely do again!

In short: Glorious day, great route, loads of great organisation, but please warn participants they need to allow 15 mins from road to parking up and more to get to registration. Info states 'event village will be obvious from car park'. Not so.
