In short: A great atmosphere, well organised with lots of very welcome support from the many marshalls.
In full: I'm still on a buzz from having completed my first half-marathon! The scenery and the weather were perfect and the hills just added to the interest! Many thanks to all for the marshalls who did a great job on the day.

In short: Evil Hills.............
In full: Definitely challenging! A shame about the bottleneck for the first mile or so since you will never know whether the hills are the reason for your slow time or not.....!! Very friendly and thank you to the marshalls for the music. Nice t-shirt. Interesting changing facilities - they did say they were limited! Thank you to the sun for coming out.

In short: A couple of the hills were a bit of a killer especially for a first timer, still well worth it though

In short: The hardest thing I have ever done, but what an achievement
In full: This was never going to be an easy race, especially for a beginner, however, the sense of achievement at the end was just fantastic (after I had caught my breath back). Having completed the course, I am in absolute awe, for the runners who came in first positions. Beginners should not be put off because the course is hilly. This was my first half marathon and I want to take part again next year and more ;o

In short: Great race - nice atmosphere and well organised.
In full: Lovely race - killer hills for a real sense of achievement! Always well organised, loads of marshals - all friendly and encouraging and a nice T-shirt and a Mars bar at the end - what more could you ask? Thank you Marlow Striders for a lovely race!

In short: great day
In full: First ever half marathon, drove up from swansea that morning, on my own. What an acheveiment, when i finished. Didn't know there would be more hills than Swansea though!!! Encouragement of other runners and stewards got me over the line. Thanks everyone.

In short: What a buzz as you finish!!
In full: Me and my brother drove around the course the day before and obviously took a wrong turn because we mistook the 11 mile hill as the 8 miler!Oh the joy as i realised our mistake and that there are actually two killer (but achievable) hills.....I ran up them both(with great difficulty)...Great course! Great day! Hope do do it all again next year!!
