In short: My only comparison is the Great North. This was smaller and MUCH more hilly. My time was better though. A fun, challenging race & a good T-shirt at the end.

In short: Very enjoyable run
In full: My first ever comp and although I wasn't running to beat people I was glad I didn't come last!! The hills are V hard but I really enjoyed it. At least I know I have done the hardest half marathon.

In short: Great when you finish!
In full: Being one of those fortunates who pick up prizes these are very generous considering the low entry fee. Always a hard but enjoyable race

In short: a tough choice for my first half M but well worth it. Great organisation and if the sun does ever shine the scenery would be glorious.
