In full: Excellent organisation, marshalls and atmosphere, with good, enthusiastic support on the course. Will be back next year, in fact have entered already. Thanks to organisers, and all of the top notch marshalls and helpers.

In short: Overall a good race, just need to re-look at the 1st mile.
In full: The marshalls were excellent, course is fast (except the start, pleasant course and well supported. Organisation was good and I liked the fact that there was plenty of close free parking. Did not need to use the baggage area. Nice mix of standard of runners with a good friendly atmosphere.

In short: Fast course (except or the underpass) and good organisation (except for baggage drop off)
In full: Apart from the delays caused by the bottlenecks through the town centre and the underpass, which was unacceptable, this is a fast flat course. The road closures and marshalling was well organised.

In short: Great Race Spoiled by Underpass Bottleneck
In full: Ran this last year and the course has definately improved. Didn't mind the two laps as didn't have to pass the start line.
All in all I found this a great flat friendly race with lots of PB potential.Just a few niggles.
Underpass during first mile caused a bottleneck which was just unacceptable.
The long queue for baggage. Please just check out other races and see how fast this is normally done. If it had been cold and raining this would have been a big problem.
Too many runners wearing headphones oblivious of people trying to pass them.
Medals could have been slightly different to last year's.

I'm sure these problems can be ironed out. As usual from Purple Patch a well organised race.

In full: Flat and fast route. However as i live in the area the 2 laps was a little soul distroying and i noted many people dropping out at the lap 2 marker. Otherwise good run to get a PB.

In short: Well organised, well marshalled and pretty decent race. Good mix of abilities and local support good in places. No Goody Bag (well - a banana). Nice Medal though. Get there early (like they advise you to) as queues for loos & bag drop were long.

In short: Fast course apart from the underpass
In full: A fast flat half if you werent being held up at the underpass, which cost some of us valuable seconds and a PB! apart from that the race was very well organised, and the route was nice once we left the town centre, although I wasnt keen on doing 2 laps. The marshalls were friendly and encouraging. It was also a good idea to have banana's at the end to give runners some much needed energy after the run. The only other problem was the massive queue to collect your bag, we were starting to get cold waiting around.
