In short: Solid PB-able Race In full: Some minor inclines, but still very PB-able course; Good value for money, especially with nice navy blue mug! Would do again if I wanted another crack at my 10M PB Date of review: November 16, 2009

In short: Good Flat PB course In full: Good marshalling, great weather and a PB course. The PB course meant what you gained in speed, you had to compromise on scenery so the route wasn't very inspiring, especially the second lap of the dual carriageway. But for the speed freaks, this is definitely the race to run. Date of review: November 16, 2009

In short: Speedy 2-lapper around Preston villages In full: Enjoyed this. Very flat with only a couple of gentle inclines so a real PB course although it can be a little tricky to overtake on the pavement by the dual carriageway.
The runners seemed to be of a very good standard overall and there were some tremendous times recorded. The marshalls had their work cut out but they did well and were cheerful and supportive generally.
The memento was a mug which is nice enough but it was a shame that it didn`t say the name of the race on it.
A really good race for runners chasing a time as the end of the year approaches. Date of review: November 16, 2009

In short: Flat ,fast , friendly, fab, In full: Left watch at home (by mistake!), started off too slowly then caught a group running at my pace but overdid it & suffered the last 2 miles. One of the worst races I've done, personally, but a great atmosphere with a friendly bunch of northerners!. The course is flat with PB potential, I missed out on mine by 9 seconds. Will be back at Guys 10 in three weeks with my watch on, PB watch out! Date of review: November 17, 2008

In short: The course is set up for fast times In full: Any inclines/declines are gradual and the course is set up for fast times. The marshalls are all friendly and the event ran very well. The mug at the end was a nice touch. Date of review: November 17, 2008

In short: Excellent race - fast and very friendly In full: Really excellent 10 mile race - flat, well organised and friendly and supportive marshalls. Perfect running conditions made it a really enjoyable morning and made even better by taking 3 and half minutes off my pb. Date of review: November 16, 2008

In short: cracking race! In full: this was my big shot at going sub 60 and the course was meant to be flat and fast and it is fast but not entirely flat, there are two very slight climbs (both run twice as its a two lapper). Organization was smooth, atmosphere was good, support and marshaling were good. Nice mug and a gel at the end. I ran 58:59 job done!!! ;) Date of review: November 16, 2008
