In short: Enjoyed it
In full: More room in the college this year, compared to the school last year so that was better. Shame the weather wasn't as nice as last year :)

In short: Exhilarating!
In full: My first half marathon so I was a bit apprehensive, but it couldn't have been better!
It was certainly 'undulating' as described, but there were plenty of down-hills as well as up-hills.
Even the lashing rain could not spoil the glorious countryside and wonderful villagers who came out to cheer us on. The marshals were amazing, standing for hours in the rain to support us. The baggage facilities were run with military precision. The highlights for me were the lovely Dame Kelly handing out the finishers medals - and the runner dressed as a giant Garfield!

In short: Their 2nd time, my 2nd time, i will be back for no.3 and more, great race!
In full: Very very well organised, clockwork baggage, great marshalls. A few had issues with timing chips in race numbers but 99% fine. Improved route. Even a good crowd supporting in the rain, and a PB to boot!

In short: To run on traffic-free country lanes was a joy, despite the persistent rain. Really enjoyed this one.

In full: This event was fantastically well organised. Being able to wait in the warm at the college before the start was excellent. Having the college open meant no waiting for the toilets which is a huge plus for the ladies amongst us. Some of the roads were fully closed to traffic but I didn't see one car on the whole run. Marshalls were fab as were the children at the water stations. Fantastic support in Leigh from the locals. Would definitely do it again next year.

In short: Well organised!
In full: Good run, mostly good roads, one part near the middle was a bit rough, didn't enjoy the loop at the end, both myself and my partner measured this as 13.28 miles! Overall good challenging run.

In short: Fantastic race - thoroughly enjoyed myself even with the last couple of hills!
In full: Would definitely do this one again - marshalls, crowd & the organisation were excellent and of course Dame Kelly made it a very special day. It was my first time for this race and it really was my favourite of the year.
