In short: Well organised, hilly 10km
In full: 1st time I've done this one but I will definitely be back. A couple of decent hills in the race, but 2 steep descents which were welcome. It was dry so made the hills easier!
Well marked via trees and arrows. Due to the small number of runners sometimes felt like you were out with no one else around!
Small race but should grow as great value for money.
Overall v well organised and marshalled with a water station, which was unexpected. Also plenty of red kites keeping an eye on all the runners!

In short: Great local off-road 10k with a few good hills
In full: I was roped into this at the last minute but on the day entry was swift and easy. Parked right outside, no queue for the loo and a warm place to wait for the start. Very low key with les sthan 150 runners but very friendly and a fantastic route with a wondersul long downhill section in the last 2m. Not sure how we get to see the results as can't seem to find them anywhere...

In short: Great way to spend a Sunday morning!
In full: Really enjoyed myself - small, friendly race in beautiful countryside. Well marshaled and well marked course and the first XC race I've ever done where the organizers had kindly marked tree roots/tree stumps in fluorescent paint! Nice hard race with killer hills and we were warned at the start that although billed as 10K it was actually longer (6.5 miles by my reckoning!) well that's my excuse when broadcasting my time!! Well done to the organizers.
