In short: A well organised, scenic race with some challenging inclines and a great atmosphere In full: Loved the staggered start and the pipers playing at several of the km points. Great atmosphere with music playing along a lot of the route and some good local support.
In short: Great fun course, good atmosphere, bad start In full: All in all, a fun race with some good hilly stretches, lovely scenery and a brilliant atmosphere. Bottleneck start is the only downside, was about half a km before I could really get started due to the narrowness of the start area. That said, however, if you're not too fussed on your time, it's an absolute winner. Date of review: October 3, 2011
In short: Hilly and challenging against the spectacular backdrop of Edinburgh In full: Despite the weather, there was a great atmosphere and a good turn out. The warm up got everyone rocking and ready for the first 2km uphill. A great course with plenty of hills to challenge you and then a fantastic final 1k down the Royal Mile to finish fast. A well organised race. Date of review: October 3, 2011
