In short: Fantastic quirky race with some awesome touches :-)
In full: So many positives:
Extremely friendly atmosphere.
Great organisation.
Very Cheap.
Great goody back of snacks.
Double decker bus with chocolate muffins back to start.
Get to see a 3* Bore.
I would run again tomorrow. The terrain is cross country and mud was hard so cow tracks were very uneven so hard going. Lots of stiles so don't expect a PB, but all adds to the charm of the event.
My only slight niggle is that headphones were banned without notice at registration and I hate running without music. But that's my only negative for a great event. Thanks to the organisers :-)
