In short: Another good Regency 10K in the usual glorious sunshine
In full: Bit biassed as I can walk to the start, but this really is a good race despite congestion in first half. Great mix of scenery, good local support, encouraging marshalls, and a real mix of club and non-club runners. And yet again the sun shone! Not sure it can get much bigger though given narrow paths round Newbold Comyn ..

In short: A nice run out in town.
In full: Overall a good race, being a slower runner and choosing my starting place towards the back of the field.

A little congested in places but did not cause to many hold ups and a quick request to come through was met with a gap opening up.

Well marshalled and great support from the crowd and other runners.

Looks like my chip did not record correctly as my gun time matches my chip time and is about 4 mins off my own garmin time.

In short: Overcrowded
In full: Around 2000 take part in this event and with narrower paths for a large part of the first 5k, those not at the front got caught up in groups of slower runners and walkers. The event could may have benefited from having organised the start in some way like other larger events to allow the front runners to get away and those wanting to run to be able to have a go. Also marshals could parhaps have instructed the slower participants to keep to one side to allow others through. So a disappointing run from that pointed of view as leave the event feeling that a better time could have been posted. However, it should be said that it was well marshalled and the spectators were fantastic. Great location for a 10k too.
