In short: Well done to the organiser & marshalls
In full: I enjoyed the inaugural event in 2012, but this was a marked improvement: plenty of parking spaces; Race HQ, port-a-loos & mobile cafe all very close by; free (hot) food for runners; & a good goody-bag once again. My Garmin recorded just the 139 feet of ascent over the entire course, so it's pretty damn flat! Along quiet country roads too. Thanks to all the marshalls, who braved freezing conditions.

In short: Super friendly, very well marshalled, nice winding country lanes
In full: Loved how the parking, loos and registration were all really close - no need to panic if you're a bit late! The start was on the road outside - so leave a few mins to get there. Really well marshalled - felt very well looked after. And a great goody bag. Water, a handy hat, which I put on straight away as it was freezing, and a big bar of choc, and a medal. Great day. Thanks to all concerned.

In short: Fantastic race and best value event I have done
In full: Great communication prior to event. Easy registration and good quality coffee van to get a brew before the race.

Course is as flat as you can get with one minor climb through Great Eccleston. If it doesn't blow then this is definite PB potential.

Race is cheap to enter so getting a huge chocolate bar, bottle of water, hat, medal and hot pot at the end makes you marvel at the value. Hats off to Alan this is a great event and the start/finish was made better than year 1. With an organiser who listens to feedback and knows what runners want I can only see this event going from strength to strength.
