In short: Fast, friendly and well organised In full: My first time at Peterborough and I ran alone, so wasn't really looking forward to it. But the race had a really good atmosphere, the city was all geared up with full roads closed to allow plenty of room. It's a surburban run, but being a townie I didn't mind at all. Lots of people came out of their houses to cheer people on and kids shouting "you can do it!" at everyone. Nice to feel so welcome when a city is shut down so we can run. Oh and I got a PB. In short: I love this race - a great experience In full: Ive run a number of half marathons now around England and abroad but this one comes out on top - I just love the whole atmosphere, the course is mainly flat, many locals are out supporting you along most of the route. Its traffic free, well marshalled, what else can I say. Course changed from last year and for the better. Many thanks to the organisers - I'll be back next year Date of review: October 18, 2012

In short: Decent course with good crowd support all around the course In full: A fast course although not completely flat and with some twisty sections. Good support around the course and a competitive field give the race good pb potential though. Excellent conditions on the day. Date of review: October 18, 2012

In short: Wasn't fast so much as..... very fast - well organised - if your targeting a 1/2PB this is the race to get it In full: Perfect running conditions in the sunshine.
Let's be honest ...wasn't too sure about a race on the streets of Peterborough but was pleasantly surprised and impressed ....with large number of good people of Peterborough coming out their front doors to cheer on us runners.
Was possible to hold onto a 10k pace all the way round making this a very fast - very flat course on closed roads.
Noticed their 'Fun Run' is now a 5k which was also very fast - don't know if it's cert measured - but if so definitely worth doing if your not up to the 1/2 distance. Date of review: October 17, 2012
