In short: Interesting first half, dull second half
In full: This is the second time I have entered this event. It is very well organised, marshalled and provisioned. The supply of water and gels is among the most generous you will find in any event. The downside to the event is the course. The first half is undulating, but goes through some interesting places. The second half, while being flat, unfortunately is a bit dull and this makes it difficult mentally, as not only are you trying to fight fatigue, you are also fighting boredom. Not much the organisers can do about that, after all, that's the geography of the area, but it does make a difference to the overall enjoyment of the event.

In short: Perfect choice for my first full marathon
In full: Many thanks to all who helped make this such an excellent race. Well marshalled, and plenty of water and gel stations. The weather was perfect, and made for a really scenic run.

In short: Excellently organised, very supportive and numerous marshalls - a very well run race. Would highly recommend. Course pretty challenging but worth the effort.

In short: Great Race, good atmosphere and an interesting course
In full: Not to split hairs but my garmin made the full 42.65 km long and no chip timing? I'm just bitter cos I missed 3:30 by 4 seconds :)

In short: 4th time and I'll look forward to being back
In full: I love running by the sea and this is a really nice route. You can see that this race is organised by a friendly club, experienced in both running in events and organising their own.

In short: I do like to be beside the seaside
In full: Lovely race. Mostly on well tarmaced footpaths and promenades, back and forth along the coast. There was plenty of water and gels, plenty of marshals, t-shirt, medal, goody bag. A couple of short sharp inclines, but nothing bad enough to spoil the fun.
