In short: Nice 10 miler. Deserves more support. In full: I did this last year, and it was hellishly hot- in Octber! Nearly turned me off this year, but decided to have another go.It's a nice event, much hillier than I remembered.
Well organized, secured baggage an improvement from last year, as was the pre-race information, which included street plan of Sittingbourne showing where the venue was, together with directions on getting there. Technical T- shirt for finishers was of good quality.Sadly the event attracted less than 200 runners, certainly deserves more support. Date of review: October 8, 2012
In short: Hilly but rewarding In full: Lots of hills and very little on the flat. Seems uphill for much of the first 7 miles of the race, including a steep climb at around the 1 mile mark. Encouraging marshalls and another nice technical t-shirt. Would run again. Date of review: October 8, 2012
In short: perfect autumn race In full: Well organised, gorgeous scenery, this race deserves to have many more entrants. The long-sleeved technical t-shirt in the goody bag will come in useful this winter! Date of review: October 8, 2012
In short: Beautiful day, lovely countryside course taking me thruogh villages I never knew existed! Lovely! Marshalls very helpful and encouraging. The hills were quite tough, but character building.... Date of review: October 8, 2012
In short: challenging andvery well run event In full: The running of this event was excellent from the car park attendants to the marshalls and baggage store and everyone else involved. The course was certainly not easy but was run through nice countryside and the atmosphere was excellent. Haven't done this race for 3/4 years but will be back. Date of review: October 7, 2012
