In full: My first "LakeV", and highly doubt it will be my last!
Glorious scenery; the middle 11 miles are pancake-flat; the organisation perfect; can't recommend this race highly enough :o)

In short: Great course, great organization, great fun
In full: My first HM. Thoroughly enjoyable day. Great organization, with race HQ, carparks and loos all close to the start. Lovely flat, scenic course. Very efficient and enthusiastic personnel on the drinks stations - really appreciated the sponges. And someone even remembered to order perfect running weather!

In short: Wonderful scenery and gloriously flat - fantastic for my first half!
In full: Really enjoyed my first half marathon at Lake Vyrnwy. The weather was perfect, the course was almost totally flat (with an incline that I didn't notice in the first mile but that I really enjoyed coming back down in the last mile!). The organisation was great and the home-made sandwiches and cakes at the finish were very welcome.

In short: My fave half marathon event
In full: Perfect weather, cloud cover, 18C, gentle breeze. Good spectator support in the first and last miles. Am I the only finisher who didn't get socks in the goody bag?
