In short: Lovely race and ta for the cool weather
In full: LOL at the fact they brought the start forward to embrace the cooler weather and nearly made it rain. The cooler weather meant that this race was as enjoyable but much faster with several people recording PBs this year. It's a must in the Surrey calendar and would recommend that everyone do this race at least once. A lot of effort goes into organising events. Thank you DMVAC and look forward to seeing you again next yr.

In short: Lovely route, however watch out for Traffic
In full: Excellent HQ, however lack of local interest, on course support makes race curiously atmosphere free. Roads are busy with other traffic, today had to contend with a vintage car rally, bike race and local 4x4s; so hardly relaxing running. Marshalling very sparse; however credit to the father/daughter outfits in the last 2 miles who were very encouraging.

In short: Good organisation and great PB potential
In full: First time of doing this race and was impressed. Very scenic and slightly undulating course on surrey back roads. Excellant marshalling and good value for money.

In short: Challenging but enjoyable
In full: Great course with a couple of challenging hills, I liked hearing the runners names being called out as we entered the finishing straight and it was an excellent goody bag. Marshals on the course were encouraging and I am looking forward to doing it next year.

In short: Another great race. But this ain't easy!
In full: A few things make this race stand out. The great and knowledgable commentary at the end from the Dorking Club official. The friendly atmosphere. The punishing hills (six at least- one close to the end). The village green start. The smooth organization. The excellent results service- page by page within minutes of your finish. Very little to fault this.A very good club run but great- and very challenging- for the first timer. Bravo!

In short: Tough Challenge but SO worth it
In full: An excellent event. Tough but scenic course with a couple of energy sapping short sharp hills, but the feeling afterwards makes it all worth while. Cheerful marshals, at key points & water stations (& hose station). With chip finish too. Excellent High Tech T-Shirt for the special 25th anniversary was a real treat - thanks. A must of an event for amyone. A real find of an event. Thanks DMVAC, and thanks to the RD (Sheena) & her team for all their hard work - see you next year.

In short: Boy was it hot!
In full: What a smart technical Tee!
It almost made the sunburn worthwhile. Possibly the most scenic finish to a Surrey run and I can hardly blame them for the non-existent train service to Dorking which meant 2 hours by replacement bus.
Well done to all concerned.
