In short: Lovely day and very challenging run but great fun!! Dont bother with your garmin!
In full: I really enjoyed this race - not one I would have picked myself but as it is a very different challenge for someone addicted to road races but definitely felt as though it was good for me! Gorgeous sunshine helped the atmosphere and everyone seemed to be in it for the enjoyment rather than the competition as such. Tough race with a gruelling last 2km up hill through the woods. Well organised and I loved the little kid playing his drum kit as you walked to the start - very NY marathon!! Thank you for making everyone smile! Be warned we only just made the start it really is a 10min walk from mcdonalds car park!

In short: Really Enjoyable Race!!
In full: This is a lovely race through woodland, along toe paths and through villages. The run is quite tough, so don't take it lightly - especially the last 5K, but well worth doing!! I'll defo do it again and loving the bottle of beer!!

In short: It snowed it was cold and it was muddy - I loved it!
In full: A shortened and changed course to normal with a few top runners taking the wrong turn - didn't go down too well with them. 2 laps of a very tough course not helped in trail shoes - I've bought some off road shoes for next year, I'll definitely be back next year it was a great experience.

In short: mud glorious mud!!
In full: This was my first cross country and I have to say it left me wanting more!! I got lost on the way and just made it to the back of the group as the horn went, so had a nice warm up running to the start. Didn’t know the course had changed so was a shock going up that mildly leg burning hill TWICE! All in all it was a good race that was very muddy and wet, but thoroughly enjoyable and would recommend to anyone doing a cross country for the first time :)

In short: Changed route for 08 - interesting conditions !
In full: (I have to declare an interest as a Skyrac member...)It was definitely an interesting challenge today, lots of standing water and thick mud, a tricky little b'r of a hill to go up twice and treachorous footing - but I did enjoy it in a masochistic way :) Looking forward to my bottle of beer now - glug.

In short: a good muddy start to Easter Sunday, enjoyed it
In full: Re-routed on day due to settled snow, meaning 2 laps of the woods instead of picturesque river crossings, canal towpath and Esholt village. The rapidly thawing white-stuff meant oodles of water and mud underfoot, more cross-country than trail -- still, we did get to do the vertical woodland section twice rather than once :) The bottle of beer looks a good prospect for later.

In short: some top runner, muddy muddy and fun
In full: My second race for years will do it again if i get chance, had great fun, just started running seriosly again. The people and venue good, bring ur wellys. A fun race mud all over, well worth it, a massive start. could do with starting in the open field instead of the walk way. Spred every 1 out, will do it agian never done a trail before, mint race and a free beer sets the sunday sesh off very well.
