In short: my third year of this race - fantastic tea and cakes - a great great route hard first half, then flattish finish and countryside but in wide paths so no bottlenecks, Love it!

In short: Well organised event with a really good community feel.
In full: My first time at the event having started doing events regularly. The event has a really good community feel and is really well organised - the cakes afterwards alone are worth running a decent time to make sure you get some! The course is challenging without being daunting - be warned the first 5k are mostly uphill!

In short: My local race. Managed to turn up 30 mins late and full of cold so had to do on my own. Still managed to catch the back 3 markers. Love this route - will arrive on time next year!

In short: First time I have done this, definitely not the last
In full: Most of this race is off road, in country side or on cycle tracks - with a mostly good surface and adequate width for easy passing. With one exception the orgainsation was excellent, including providing very safe crossing of some major roads. The exception was the final road crossing near the Leisure Centre where we were left to cope by ourselves.

Looks on the map as a PB no hope course due to the height gain, but getting almost all the up done in the first 4K certainly makes it possible, if not likely. And you are rewarded with excellent views on the way down.

If Leatherhead Fire Station is as good at putting out fires as it is at organising races the people of Leatherhead are in safe hands.

In short: A very well organised race with an interesting and challenging route
In full: Excellent race, good atmosphere and well organised. The first 4k are tough but from there on its plain sailing and the cakes are definately worth getting to the end for.
