In full: First class organisation on a perfect day for running.
A few hills which were enough to test you but nothing you couldn't cope with. Strongly recommended

In short: Royston Runners' End of Year Bash - Perfect Antidote to Christmas Overdoing It
In full: This was my first time and a real pleasure to run.
Organisation was perfect and couldn't fault anything (aside from the start coinciding with a car driving slowly through the pack of waiting runners!!
Marshaling and support from Royston Runners members was 2nd to none and this makes a perfect Winter race.
It's tough but well worth the effort and you feel terrific, if not a little knackered at the end.
Goody bag was great - cute memento, chocolate, variety of drinks and food. Very very good value for the entry money.

In short: An excellent post Christmas festivity event.
In full: This race has some lovely scenery with a bit of housing estate repetition at the beginning and end. Normally traffic is not aproblem, but this year there was a particularly impatient driver who pushed his way through the start line up which was unfortunate for those at the back to middle who were trying to prepare for the start gun which then went off, causing some difficulty and confusion. Thought the new HQ worked OK and the memento was very original and appreciated. Thanks to all race personnel who made this event possible.

In full: Very good race, it was my first race for a few months and did i feel it! but i'm glad i did, the excellent little trophy just topped it off.

In short: Great run on a surprisingly warm day
In full: Really enjoyed a course which was considerably more undulating than I had expected. I had wanted to run at Buntingford for a couple of years but had not been able to do so for family reasons. When I was finally able to, it looked as though the icy weather would prevent it. However, the course proved to be ice free and offered a great run in almost perfect conditions for this time of year. It certainly has its ups and downs in the first half with a compensating long down section from six miles onwards. I didn't like the initial section either and think the organisers should try to find an extra loop somewhere in the countryside. That apart, a very well organised race with an unusual memento, and I will certainly be back.

In short: great race to end the year on.
In full: the marshells did great job, support was very good. did not like the 2 lap around the estate much but i will be back again for next year.

In short: A great little race
In full: Even though personally I had a bad run, I will be back as I really enjoyed it.
I think this course is more challenging than it looks. A great run out after Xmas, friendly supportive marshalls and good organization (loved the momento too)
What everyone else has said really!
