In short: Great race, great atmosphere, wonderful, costumes.
In full: An angel of the lord came down and said 'Eat my dust Santa', then I was overtaken by a gigantic boiled sweet, ran in the wake of a Chistmas star and sprinted past two sumo wrestlers and a herd of reindeer. And there were Santas and Christmas fairies everywhere! What a wonderful way to knock of four and a bit miles, even in the pouring rain the Christmas spirit starts here!

In short: My first race ever! Great for a beginner - loads of fancy dress. Quite an undulating route so it wasn't a pushover.

In short: A fun run that was fun to run!
In full: A very well organised pre-Christmas event Undulating rather than hilly and only 4.2 miles makes this perfect for fun runners. More serious runners may find the short and rather odd distance frustrating (It would be a great 10K) and think it is not worth travelling for but they would be wrong! Even some of the serious runners got into the spirit of things. Bar-humbug to the rest of you!

In short: Brilliant pre-Christmas race. Good atmosphere, fancy dress. Gets you in the mood.
In full: First Caper for a few years due to injury, illness etc. but glad to be back this year. Nothing's changed - it's still a super little Christmas race, with a pudding at the end for your trouble. Challenging inclines and encouraging marshalls. All in all, can't fault it and I'll be back.
