In short: 1st time for me
In full: coming up the hill was made more challenging by the head on wind, great support from the marshalls, love the t-shirt

In short: A challenging climb to the finish but there were lots of marshalls to give lots of encouragement
In full: As a relative novice runner, this was a great race! The course is a little tough, having a climb to the finish from mile 3, but the marshalls were fantastic! Frequent mile markers helped with pace along the route. The cool clear weather and some nice scenery made for a perfect race - and my PB! (near the back)

In short: a nice friendly race and nice course
In full: I do this race every year to support our local clubs. The marshalls were all very friendly and encouraging. only moan is that the drinks station should be next to the finish not hidden at the back of the club house. Not a wise idea to finish in the mud, messed up by new trainers.see you next year

In short: Enjoyable but challenging
In full: Enjoyable friendly run round Accrigton with good support from the marshalls. Feel like a speed god in the 1st half with great views then fight you way up on the return to town

In short: Great race with good challenge but lacks finish
In full: Start is far away from registration and is all a little confusing, start line not obvious and you never knew when to stop your watch as no prominent finish line stood out.Well marshalled and friendly.Limited parking at registration. Some of the route is risky due to traffic and side streets were traffic could approach, a small incline leading to a downhill 2 milish with a good demanding hill for about 3 milish leading to flat.Thrown on to the boggy mud for the finishing count when there was a perfectly dry dirt track. Results found on accy road runners web site.pre race map not clear.

In short: The hardest part is getting to the start!
In full: Another good run around Accy, but registration is too far from the start. An ankle could be easily turned trudging across the playing fields. Any chance of changing the start? Overall, though, I enjoyed it again, but someone needs to tell the slower runners not to stand at the front! No offence, we've all been there (and will be there again) but it caused bit of a bottle neck. Nice memento at the end and very smoothly marshalled around the finish line.

In short: Fast, fast, SLOOOOOOW
In full: PB for the first 3 miles and then the hard work started and never seemed to stop. Managed a PB of 51:50. Been running for 12 months and it was a pleasing finish to the end of the season. One tiny gripe - Stopped near the guy with the megaphone at the end so lost a few seconds. Hope the young lad who seemed to have gone 'too far' was okay.
