In short: Very well organised with lots of friendly marshalls around to support!
In full: Not a flat one at all but a lovely route around villages and country lanes with a bit of off road to mix it up a bit. Was a bit rainy to start but other than that a lovely day and a nice goody bag with a flask that came with free hot chocolate - loved it!! :-)

In short: One of my favourite races
In full: Even better than last year, having learned to pace myself and get round comfortably. Very friendly, not too crowded, lovely marshals and supporters and a thermal mug to fill with hot chocolate and marshmallows at the end. I love this race!

In full: This is my 2nd time in this race and I really enjoyed it both times. Very friendly feel and very good momento again. My only negatives would be that there was not enough postage on my running no. so had to pay an additional £1.19 to collect it from the post office. Also that the hot choc at the end took so long that I gave up. These are such small things though I def would do it again. I would urge any ladies to take part in this lovely village run. See you next year.

In short: Enjoyable...
In full: First time I have run this race and throughly enjoyed it. Course was scenic and no hills. Goody bag was great and spot prizes; loved the hot chocolate at the end of the run and large selection of cakes. Great organisation and will be back in 2011.

In short: Lovely race with some great extras
In full: Was expecting it to be a lot hillier - so pleasantly surprised at what I thought was a reasonably fast course. The scenery was lovely - even though with the 11 am start it promptly started to rain at 10.57... But the best were all these nice extra touches: carved pumpkins as km markers. Being cheered on by Halloween ghosts. The travel mug as a finisher Prize. Sooo much better as a medal - especially because it could promptly be filled with hot chocolate and marshmallows. And the cakes at the end - gorgeous, even more so because the proceeds went to charity. Really a race that left the famous "warm glowing feeling" at the end. Very much planning to be back!

In short: I'm not normally a big fan of 10Ks but this race is special.
In full: Second time I've done this race and, as before, the organisers and marshalls were great. Thank you!
