In short: A 'hair-raising' experience on some parts of the course!!
In full: A hard first 5k with the wind being extremely strong. I'm glad I ran the race - good training run, I've never run in such conditions before - I hope I never have to again! I really enjoyed the experience - no chance of a personal best for me - I was one of the lightweights trying to keep on my feet!!

In short: My first ever competative race!
In full: I live locally and I've never seen the waves that bad before in Llandudno. First race I've ever done, so technically a PB of 48.45, and for some reason the bad weather made it all the better!!

In short: A local said to me before the start "HAVEN'T THEY CANCELLED IT? I'VE NEVER SEEN IT THIS BAD IN SIXTY YEARS" Cheers, pal.
In full: My first ever organized running event, so at least one competitor made a PB! A highly satisfying day out, Are all 10k's this hard? The pile of lightweights being physically blown into the gutter by a strong gust at the highest point was an unusual sight.

In short: It would be nice to run the course again without the wind!!! Maybe a possible PB course??

In short: Tough climb up the Great Orme but a nice downhill slope to compensate. Could hardly stand up in the wind!!
