In short: well organized, despite the weather.
In full: would like to of seen a chip timing mat at the start and not just at the finish, your Time is gun to chip and not chip to chip so not an accurate time of when you actually crossed the start to the finish.
as everyone had the same start time no matter where you were at the start.

In short: Well organised, friendly marshalls, inclement weather and flooded roads added extra challenge.
In full: 4th Year doing this race. Always very well organised. The Marshalls deserve an extra vote of thanks this year for coping with the downpour for most of the race. Despite the inclement weather, this was my best time over the 4 years. Well worth turning out for, even in torrential rain.

In short: Slightly challenging, well worth doing
In full: This is my local race, I nearly did it last year but chickened out as I was quite new to running. This year I didn't hesitate and booked myself in. On the day, I got there with 30 mins to spare, which was plenty of time to get my number and chip. the race was well organised with clear instructions on where to go. There was a wait at the start line, which was painful as it was absolutely chucking it down with rain and was freezing cold, but once I got going, I soon warmed up. The marshals were amazing and the route gorgeous! Well worth the effort. I'll be back next year ;o)

In short: Friendly marshalls, good atmosphere and a PB to boot!
In full: Thank you to the organisers.

+ Good value, great organisation, friendly marshalls, nice route and PB potential. Allin all a really good race with the added feature of chip-timing (finally!)

- Poor momento (a mini-towel - why?). Additionally, on-line results seemed to be really slow this year, which was annoying as I forgot to stop my stopwatch and we were promised quicker results with the new chip-timing!

Finally, bring back the post-race bananas!

In short: Well organised event on a pleasant course...
In full: Once again, very well organised and marshalled - Billericay Striders really have got this down to a tee. Very slick - course is pleasant and fair with a couple of climbs that keep it challenging. Only criticism was the memento of a towel at the end! What happened to last years excellent trophies/paperweights?
