In full: Or I would have blown onto the beach at times :) It was a challenging 1st half marathon but I enjoyed it and the medal is gorgeous.

In short: A good race, one that will surely get bigger.
In full: Apart from the howling gales against you along the seafront it was a great gruelling race. The marshalls were very encouraging and the marquee was a very welcome sight at the end. The cakes and refreshments were lovely. Well done Bexhill on a great series.

In short: WINDY - but worth it, nice friendly atmosphere
In full: Arrived in rain and hail storms, so didn't bode well. However, it stayed dry for the race, but the WIND - wow - certainly got the leg muscles working. The marshalls were great, the run would be ideal for a PB as nice and flat, and the Kite surfers took the mind off the pain for a while. Well organised, although I'm not sure it would work if the race gets bigger (and hopefully it will). The cakes were a welcome treat. Nice medal and T-shirt at the end, and all proceeds for such a worthy cause. Will be back next year for sure.

In short: well organised blowing of the cobwebs
In full: Fantastic medal and Poppy t-shirt. Very well organised race, with great encouragment from the marshalls. Free sea air and crashing waves as a bonus. Love to do this one again. Went home with a runny nose and a PB. Thank you.

In short: Flat, flat, flat, but OMG the wind
In full: I have never done such a flat half marathon. The wind was terribly strong today - it was hard to walk in a straight line. In better weather, it would be beautiful since most of it is along the front.

The organisation was good. It was lovely finishing the race in a tent full of fruit and homemade cakes. And the marshalls were fab, especially at they hand to stand around in the icy wind for hours on end.

There were children's races too, so you can bring the kids.
