In short: top job In full: loved this race despite nature's efforts-the hills are challenging and the last one is very much so. The goody bag was nice. Just want to say thank you to the marshalls who braved the downpour you deserve a mdal too. Date of review: June 12, 2011

In short: Just the right size. Good fun. Fab medal. In full: Not done this before, but really enjoyed it. Plenty of free parking if you got there early. Course = bit hilly in places, but some fine sights. Lovely medal. Date of review: June 14, 2010
In short: pleasant little local race...one which I would recommend In full: A little more undulating than expected but this did make the course more interesting. Local good value feel good race with excellent organisation. Well done Aldridge Running Club Date of review: June 14, 2010

In short: Challenging but a great community event In full: My first time at this event after reading good reports - it won't be my last. A testing course but nothing too severe, although that long final hill tests the resolve. Friendly and efficient stewarding and a good arena finish. Even the weather was ideal. Well done to the organisers Date of review: June 13, 2010
In short: Enjoyable undulating race with excellent organisation In full: Finished in 69 minutes which was above expectation especially considering the undulating course. I can see what RW meant by “tough hills”. Hobs Hole Lane is definitely going to remain in the memory for next time.
The course is enjoyable and it is not a boring flat course. You have to think your way round which makes for an entertaining race.
Marshalling was excellent and they did a fantastic job of controlling the traffic and encouraging runners. Sign posting to the venue was excellent and the dedicated free multi storey car park was a nice touch. Liked the finish arena too which prompted a sprint finish.
My only suggestion for improvement would be to have mile markers in addition the km markers and if the budget allows for it then a t-shirt would be nice. Overall an excellent race and I look forward to coming back to try and get under the 60 min mark.
