In short: Let's hope it's not the last running
In full: This race was designed for PB's and is well organised as always. Unfortunately the police are refusing to provide cover for the race; not because the organisers won't pay nor because there is anything wrong with the course. The Race Director said it is due to other priorities. Just what are the police doing on a Sunday Morning!!! Then to add insult to injury just as we started a police car drove the wrong way round the first kilometre loop. You couldn't make it up.

In short: Always a fast one
In full: There's a certain amount of traffic-dodging on the final run in down the A36, and I can understand why the authorities are not keen on allowing this route again. The school where they hold it makes an excellent base though, I hope they can find another route.

In short: Such a Fast Course it Doesn't Matter Where it Is
In full: Excellent course for PB's well organised (well except for the police getting in the way after half a km!) and a useful momento. Well thought through and executed race. If you are interested in setting a PB this race should feature on your calender.

In short: Fast and well organised
In full: Forget the lack of scenary, you come here for the fast course.

Excellent organisation and a great race. Highly recommended.

Only downer is the comment that due to lack of police support the race may not be able to run in future years. I thought the government was trying to get people of the sofa and away from the xbox!

Thanks to all the organisers, marshalls and the guy from Hardly Runners who spured me on. Will hopefully be back next year.

In short: Straight Forward 10k
In full: Good flat course, excellently marshalled, local snowy weather probably put some people off but the course was clear and the conditions perfect.
