In short: Well organised, but the start is frustrating. Having a single track with few overtaking opportunities right at the start made it nearly impossible for me to make my target time without pushing really hard between miles 2 to 8e

In short: Cross between road race and cross country course in places.
In full: Many thanks to the marshalls for still cheering and smiling in what was horrid conditions. All in all a good race, the organisers could not have predicted how horrid the weather was going to be - made for a challenge anyway.
Only disappointment was the t-shirt...

In short: Excellent start/finish venue and lots of marshalls to help
In full: Plenty of toilets at the start. Good changing/storage facilities. Nice to see a good selection of trade stands. Scenic, interesting route.

In short: Challenging with a couple of hills and weather, but all adds to the experience.
In full: Good course, would have been better on a sunny day, of course. Couple of the hills tested me, but I like that. Only disappointment was the T-shirt, dull, boring and not a great motivator. Noticed that a lot of people didn't even bother to get one.

In short: Wet , windy and challenging
In full: Many thanks to all the marshalls for their hard work and support in poor conditions. This was my third running of this race and by far the worst conditions.

In short: Nice course quite challanging, would be very good in fine weather
In full: Thought the marshalls did very well in very poor conditions. Will definnitly think about doing it again. Would have been nice to have water at the finnish line, i know there was plenty in the hall along with very welcome bannana.

In short: Well organised ... but that weather ;-)
In full: Really enjoyed this despite the shocking conditions. Well organised and great marshalling. Slight bottleneck in first mile but otherwise no issues.

In short: A much improved race on last year, despite the weather.
In full: Well done Invicta much better race than last year. It was good to see that last years issues of water stations & water supplies at the end had all been addressed.

Just a shame weather was so poor, but good organisation and a pleasant atmosphere more than made up for the ice cold driving wind & rain.
