In short: Fast and flat, but a little dull round the airfield
In full: Definitely a potential PB course as it is pretty much flat and wide the whole way round. The airfield section (4-8k) can be a bit tricky in windy conditions as it is open and exposed, and also quite dull so you have to work hard to keep the motivation round there.

All in all a good race and definitley a PB course if the conditions are right.

In short: Fast, flat race through Oxfordshire countryside
In full: This is my first race in about 4 years. The organisation was excellent, with good parking and the venue was well signposted. Facilities were good although a little crowded. The race itself was great allowing all levels of runners to compete and enjoy themselves. Definately a winner for me. See you there again next year.

In short: Fast, flat, good value
In full: Great race, well organised, very friendly marshalls. Shame about the weather though! Slightly demoralsing running around the huge airfield and seeing runners 2 - 3 kms ahead..but overall great.

In short: Good course
In full: Shame about the weather, but not as bad as expected. Great course - like the finish, felt great getting to the 8k mark.

Only downside - the bacon butties were built up to be better than they were - one more rasher??!!

In short: Great Race, Great Organisation
In full: Really enjoyed the race yesterday, my 2nd year here. Excellent momento at the end and the sausage sandwiches in the club house were fantastic. Well done to all the marshalls for setting up the course in what must have been horrible condtions

In short: Great pb potential, shame about the wind.
In full: Other than the weather, which, obviously, is outside the control of the organisers, I can't really find fault with this race. Organisation was smooth and there was a lovely memento at the end. Great bargain. The only comment I would have would be the slippiness of the airfield, it was potentially very dangerous...

In short: Very enjoyable
In full: It's the second time for me and again thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame I didn't get PB but good excuse to try again next year. The memento was stunning, and worth the trip from S Wales in itself. A bit more notice ' ie 'Ready Steady ' then the gun would have been helpful, but that's just a minor criticism. The marshalling. the signage and the professional timer were superb. Thank you x

In short: A well organised pre Christmas race
In full: My second trip up from the South Coast for this one and it will probably be a hat trick next year. Being flat and fast its a good chance to see where you are at the end of the year so you can set targets and plan your running for the New Year.
