In short: Great race!
In full: This race has pb written all over it. What goes up must come down, and I honestly didn't notice the incline between miles 2 - 5 until I had the pleasure of running back towards the town between 5 & 8.

The final loop in the town was very nice as was the support. There were a few inclines but they were quite short and steep and not too long or drawn out.

All in all I thoroughly enjoyed it, I will be back next year to try another pb!

In short: Great Course
In full: Not sure what all the fuss is about the cobbles, i thought it made the course more interesting. No problem with placing at the start. Really enjoyed the event with no problems at all. I travel the country doing all the major half marathons and this ranks high on the list for me. Not too bothered about the T-shirt as they tend to go to the back of the cupboard anyway. Like all the other races it could be cheaper but it's a sign of the times with these events being ever popular.

In short: A great day
In full: My local race and one i always enjoy. The run along the portway is hard but its worthwhile when you get back to the fantastic crowd support. A well organised race given the huge numbers - a mars bar/banana would be better at the finish but there was loads of power drink avaialable. Cobbles? - I ran in the gutter which was flat and even!
