In short: Great race
In full: My first event and was great. Beautiful village and scenery. Would definitely recommend for a first timer like me. Will definitely be back next year! The marshalls (and Police!) were great at encouraging you throughout. The weather was very hot but once you got to about mile 2 it was shaded more so got much better.

In short: excellent way to spend a Saturday afternoon
In full: It's all been said, encouraging marshalls all the way round the course, plenty of people at the finish line, extremely well organised. Different types of terrain made the race interesting although that stretch from mile 2 to 3 seemed to go on forever

Also my first time at this event and i will be back next year

In short: Loved it.
In full: My first time for this race.....LOVED it. Loved the medal...as a plodder it was great to see so many people supporting the slower runners at the finish line...normally most people are leaving by the time I get in. The marshalls were really encouraging so thank you for all of your time. See you next year.

Lynn :)

In short: Well organised race again - and thanks for the hot weather. Not!
In full: A great afternoon out and a very well organised event. Well marshalled with a cracking refreshment tent - and that beer tent was very tempting as well. Only problem is that I parked my mini in that field and I still can't find - it's in that grass somewhere!

In short: a bar at the finish line......what bliss!
In full: rural 5 miler which was organised well and marshalled throughout with the police stopping all tractors.....erm traffic. a very hot day but plenty of water and a finish on the village green with a bar right next to the finish line for those that needed a thirst quenching. fantastic scenery overlooking the north downs (i think?) with the only gripe being a very crowded start with a mixture of fun runners and club runners at the front.....perhaps a wider bit of road. pb potential with the last mile downhill....i will be back next year!

In short: Excellent friendly race with a lovely route through quiet kent villages and country park.
In full: My first time for this one and will defo be back next year, really enjoyed it. Just one tiny gripe that I was at the back at the start and didn't know it had started until everyone in front of me was running. The course was superb and the marshalls were really friendly and a brill medal at the end.
