In short: As always very well organised by RRR. I love this race as it statrs my 10k season. In full: I did not mind the drizzle and not cold once you got moving. I always just feel sorry for the fete organisers as most times I have run here it rains.
Good course and fast finish over the last 1K. I will be back next year and expect RRR to sort the rain out! Date of review: May 7, 2012
In short: First time I've run it in 5 years but will be back In full: The rain wasn't too bad actually...great organisation...enjoyed a rewarding cup of coffee in my new mug when I got home.. Date of review: May 7, 2012
In short: Excellent race . Well organised and good support despite the rain In full: A good course with one or two hills but flat enough for PB territory. Well organised with very friendly marshalls and plenty of support out throughout the course. Date of review: May 7, 2012
In short: Well organised, flat-ish, fast race-well done RRR! In full: This was my 3rd time at Shinfield and my 1st time over the changed course. I much prefer this course now, scenic and with no scary climbs. Well organised and cheerfully marshalled, thanks to all involved in such cold, damp conditions.Mugs? Medals? I'm just glad to finish! In short: Very good value race In full: I wasn't in the mood for this race this morning - it was cold and wet and I was grumpy! But it cheered me up - a nice route, varied with road, path and trail, lots of downhill and although not a PB for me, a very respectable 47:30. My only gripe is they said I would get a medal and I got a mug. But it's quite a nice mug. Well done Reading Roadrunners1 Date of review: May 7, 2012
