In short: They say 'Mud, Sweat & Hills@ I say 'Mud, more mud, Lots of Sweat, Ridiculous Hills, Water but a fantastic Race' In full: I completed this with a group of Runners(Hermitage Joggers & Newbury Runners) and had a fantastic time. We took the view to run this as a team to give encouragement, support when needed and to share the laughs and fun of running through the 'large' puddles and up the crazy ascends. After the run, well what has to better than hot bacon rolls and more homemade cake than an annual WI convention! Date of review: January 12, 2015
In short: It is as it says on the tin. Big hills, big mud and organised with big hearts. fantastic event In full: It is as it says on the tin. Big hills, big mud and organised with big hearts. Fantastic event. You will not beat this event for proper cross country. A real tough race that also is very welcoming to beginners. The local village Hall and residents made everyone feel welcome. Finally you will not find a better end of race cake display, well done to the village bakers and Mr and Mrs Goulding for organising another fantastic event.
