In short: Glorious and cakeful! Lovely friendly race with a little (?) mud and a few hills thrown in. Bring your crampons.
In full: Well organised, friendly and helpful marshalls, over some interesting and varied terrain. Glorious scenery on this crisp, clear day. Pretty boggy in a lot of places and there was a lot of breaking ice over freezing water in the worst bits. Hill at 5m was an interesting take on 'running' (all-fours in places). Great cakes, even warm lardy, at the finish. All as promised, all exactly as I like it. Glad I brought my snorkel.

In short: Too easy!
In full: I wish it was too easy - may have struggled slightly over some sections! Very hard run but fantastic. No Gimmicks, just natural terrain and whatever nature throws at you (wettest winter for years!) including the steepest hill most people will have been up during a run. Beautiful day too. All good! Next village along, end of Feb - Pewsey Terminator - do it!!

In short: First off-road run & great experience!
In full: This was my first off-road run and I admit I was nervous about taking part but there had been no need to be... Great support from the marshalls and fellow runners. Hard going in places and extremely muddy but all in all a great experience and I will definitely be back to have another go!

In short: 10 Country miles jam packed with - Mud, sweat and hills!!!
In full: Fantastic event!!! The whole event is amazing the organisers have done a great job, a big shout goes to the marshalls!!!
The post-race cakes and medals made all the hard work worth it!!!
The Course: Very challenging, massive hills both up & down and an abundance of mud and water - energy sapping fun!!!
Couldn't recommend it enough too old or young; male or female; beginners or seasoned trail runners - As long as you know what your signing up for - the clue is in the name :-)

In short: Turbo X comes to the Rough & Tumble
In full: Special race, made even more special by the mud, and magnificent weather, enabling us to have the most spectacular views. You`ll have to travel a long way to find a tougher more spectacular race....as for the bad condition of the race route ...I shaved 3 minutes off last years time...;-)

In short: Slip slide through amazing countryside
In full: Amazing run, hard but great fun if you like the countryside and don't mind getting caked in mud, great marshal support, the hilliest hills you'll find and plenty of views to take your breath away if the running doesn't!
