In short: Course ideal for those in training for longer runs.
In full: Organisation was good and the crowds and stewards were excellent. If there was an award for "The Steward of the Day" it must go the enthusiastic red head with blue eyes. See you next year!

In short: Flat and fast, a PB for me!
In full: Yes, the flat fenland countryside does get a bit boring, but I really enjoyed this race, helped by a PB. I thought the water stations were plentiful and the sponges were welcome on such a warm day. The only part that did me in was the long stretch wi a headwind, but otherwise a really enjoyable run.
Not at all local for me - 250 mile round trip - but I may well be back next year.
Nice quality medal, but a tshirt would have been nice (had to buy these separately, but quite pricy and only limited sizes available.)

In short: Hot and not that wet
In full: Am I the only person thus far who thought that they needed more water stations, especially in the heat (car said 26 degrees) when I got back to it). Also, would prefer bottles, not cups. Outstanding marshalls who really encouraged, as did the local villagers. Long fen road into the wind on the second loop did me in though, and it was all I could do to get through the last couple of miles. I agree with others who would sooner have a T shirt than a medal.

In short: Mostly flat with lots of long straight stretches
In full: Very well organised race with plenty of water and sponges en route. Long, straight stretches may put some runners off but quite good if you just want to get your head down. Was hoping for a PB but was a few minutes. I blame it on the sun!!

In short: fast run well organised.
In full: great day, enjoyed the run, my first half marathon. marshaling was awesome especially girl with red hair(mad but thank you) drink stations were well placed. bad points, medals are ok but a free race t shirt would have been alot more useful.

In short: good course for a fast time, in the right conditions
In full: I know it can get hotter than it was today, but I really struggled over the last few miles today. The course is fine, very flat and well set up for fast times, one endless stretch in a straight line into the breeze seemed to take forever and sapped my will to live. Missed PB by about 50 seconds due to significant slowing in the last two miles or so. Will be back.

In short: Fast, lots of long flat stretches of country road, but hot weather!
In full: I really liked the fact that you were running a lot of very straight and flat stretches but I know others who find this boring - good if you want to try for a PB!
