In short: Brilliant Race - shame about the finish :-(
In full: This race is getting more and more popular. I missed last years race so was amazed to see how many more people entered this time around.

The course is undulating but not too challenging as long as you have trained.

Having the pacers definately helped. I managed to knock two and a half minutes off my previous best!

The finish could be improved simply by having the goody bags packed ready to hand out. My friend fell over at the finish line and gashed her leg and had to wait 20 minutes getting through to the goody bags before she could recieve attention.

In short: Well organised race on a potentially quick course
In full: Gradual inclines rather than steep hills with some pleasurable downhill sections. Hill at 9k not as threatening as I thought. Embroidered towel in goody bag was a nice touch. definately be back next year

In short: Great route, plenty of marshalls, well organised all apart from the goody bag queue
In full: This is a really great race, which for a small town attracts a large number of runners. The start is generally well organised, complete with pre-race mass warm-up. Loved the pace runners this year - thank you guys!

Only moan is the queue to collect the goody bags. The contents were good, nice towel, but the wait was long whilst getting cold & stiff. Thank you for handing out the water as soon as you crossed the line, but maybe pre-packing the goody bags would save such a long wait next year.

Thanks for organising this race though - thoroughly enjoyed it (and took 3 1/2 mins off last years time too!)

In short: A well organised race and well unorganised goody bag collection.
In full: My second time at this race and as previous the collection of numbers/chips is smooth as silk, nice atmosphere with 'Smashie and Nicie' at the race start, the pacers was a nice touch (don't remember them from last year), nice crowd support out and about, a mad sprint at the finish and then stop for 25 minutes whilst you receive your hand picked goody bag - what was all that about it's not like you had a choice of size/colour or anything! Pre-pack the goody bags, it was done last year and that worked so why different this year? The goody bags were good and probably one of the best on the race calender, but come on!

In short: Queues at the finish apart, a well-organized and friendly race
In full: Would agree with the comments about the problems at the finish re. queuing for the goodie bag. Otherwise a good, well organized event as far as I could tell (only my 3rd race). Towel was a good idea, likewise the pacemakers. Large turnout but didn't feel crowded, lots of parking. Course was quite undulating but still able do a pb and time less than my age!

In short: An undulating 10k run in a very pleasant area. Very well organised apart from the finish area resembling a supermarket queue due to goody bags being packed individually as finishers came through, probably better off making up the goody bags prior.

In short: wonderful run with a real buzz and good support
In full: I've only done it once before (2006) but I really enjoyed today. The run is local for me but I rolled with a plenty of time to spare, chatted on the start with a couple people I've never met before. The horn goes and off you go. The first bit is uphill but I decided to chill out a bit rather than gun it and it worked. I felt great the whole way round, although from 7KM I started to notice the undulations more :) The final hill is interesting but at least this year I knew that once I turned into Lacock Road I still had a way to go so I was prepared :)
Great cheering on from support on the road side. great course. Will do it again for sure.

In short: Great route very enjoyable until you crossed the finish line
In full: Perfect route as always with a little hiccup at the end. The goody bag (goody bag very good) area right at the end of the finish line caused long queues. Hopefully will be sorted for next years event.
