In short: Pan flat 5 miler offering excellent VFM
In full: The start was a bit tight, but fine once we were off the track. The course is very flat with plenty of PB potential as long as it isn't too windy (it wasn't).

The 15 minute delay to the start didn't bother me. The venue, organisation and marshalls were excellent.

Good prize for the 65th aniversary of the race, not bad for a tenner.

In short: Seen better organisation and Brewery comes to mind..... Poor alll round today...
In full: Fora UKA Bronze event should be better - Delays in starting..... only 1 person on combined late entries / on line entries.

Mile markers well out of position

Total confusion in the finish funnels... will be amazed if get the right result......

In full: First time at this my most "Local" of 5 mile races, very well organised and friendly race, flat fast course with good PB potential (if the wind allows,it can be very breezy on this course),nice mix of abilites makes this an enjoyable all round event, the excellent organisation is the icing on the cake.

In full: no problems with parking, but we did get there early. Great facilities and at least those watching had somewhere to get a drink etc. I found the route fine it was my first time running this race, I would pay more for a chip for accurate timing but would do this race again

In short: Fast Five on a Good Course
In full: A very good event as always, nearly a PB just the wind in the last mile, shame it always turns-up for this race! Will be back next year

In short: A good fast course for runners of all abilities
In full: This is a popular event, & the breezy conditions seem to come out to greet us each year. Our newbe club folk really enjoyed the day which was good to see. My one point of note is for the organisers to please check the mile markers are in the right places. Running a pleasing sub thirty, I know that I didn't run mile differentials of a minute!

In short: Rocket fast course for those Hunting P.B's
In full: An international field, a near-perfectly flat route, a super quick finish. If you want to get a P.B. over 5 miles, this is your race. Only minus point: water station at the finish did not have enough water and had a massive wait to get a drink. Would have expected more (especially as this race has a 1000+ entry limit).
