In short: Well organised and pretty scenary
In full: A special mention has to go the the Christ's Hospital band - I don't think I have every had such a large band play as I ran before, not even in big city marathons - many thanks

In short: Lovely scenery, great support, ish good bag
In full: Wish I'd known beforehand how undulating the course was, I'd been led to believe it was flat other than a hill at 10 miles so that wasn't the case. Loved the support at Christs School - felt like I was running in the olympics :-)

In short: Half Marathons are not my thing, but this is a good one!
In full: Friendly local race in spite of large entrance number. Loved the support of those living along the route, especially those supplying jelly babies. I agree that it would be great to have these at some of the water stations. The second loop is my favourite, but it was a challenge for me this time, in spite of good training...started fast again...when will I learn?! Only not doing it again, because I prefer to stick to 10ks

In short: Not Half Bad!!
In full: Very enjoyable event, the course starts off nice and easy, felt like mostly down hill, although a wee bit crowded for the first couple of miles, good support in places esp through christ's hospital. Gets a bit tougher second half, felt like uphill most of the way, or that could just be me (hills are my nemises)I'll be back!!

In short: Loved it!
In full: This was my third Half Marathon and the easiest yet. As previous reviewers have said, there are undulations but no killer hills. Every hill gives you back a down hill (actually, I felt like I ran the down hills first then had to make up for it with a slight up hill!). The scenery is great on country roads and this year we had great weather. A highlight was the venture through Christ's Hospital with a marching band and some very lovely supportive kids. It was quite early in the race but I felt great with their uplift. Everything runs smoothly and works well. I have the smallest gripe ever that the official race programme purported to list every entrant in the race, but terminated after Pa in the alphabet. With a surname beginning with S I was a little bit sad my name wasn't in it. Bit of a screw up but every other aspect was great. Loved receiving a silver medal for finishing in the top 300 and set myself a PB (4 minutes quicker than before). You can definitely set a PB on this gently undulating course.

In short: A great run
In full: Really enjoyed this race; smooth organisation, interesting undulating course, good support and warm atmosphere. A bit slow to get chip results out (assume there will be chip results?)

In full: I really enjoyed this race - it was well organised and the support was great all the way round. Quite undulating but this made it a little more interesting. The only thing would be to have water bottles rather than cups as they are always impossible to drink out of!

In short: Great race. Lots of support and friendly atmosphere.
In full: Well-marshalled race, with fantastic support in a lovely setting. Hills not too severe. Only gripe would have to be the queue for the ladies loo before the race.

In short: Well done Barns Green!
In full: After a 3 year absence, I was very happy to do this race again. Great running through the school with the support and the band, and with the support all around the course. I was very pleased to find the Kitkat in the goody bag!!
