In short: Excellent race and the course was faster than expected. The two big hills near the end are not that bad and there seems an awful lot of downhill sections.

In short: Beautiful scenery, great atmosphere. The T-shirt is now one of my most prized posessions!
In full: The massage afterwards looked great, although we weren't told you had to book, so we missed out. Very disappointing. Apart from that, a fantastic first marathon.

In short: Wow........
In full: My 2nd marathon overall and a great one for any novice. Rather hillier than I was led to believe. Good support from all the water stations and marshalls. BBQ and beer afterwards aided recovery. Cant wait for next years run
WELL DONE TO ALL INVOLVED WITH ORGANISING THE RACE THIS YEAR.

In short: Excellent organisation, well supported, good atmosphere among runners
In full: Favourable weather, excellent location, no monster though. Arrangements for travel were slick. Good warm up at the start. The only criticism was the toilets. 1200+ people getting off the buses all converging on one point. no real queing system but we all started on time and enjoyed the race, Always a good reception as you enter Inverness and more so when you enter the stadium. Why would you want to run a city marathon when you have the chance to run in the crisp clean air of the highlands and take in the stunning scenery whilst you run. Well done to the organisers
