In full: Exremely well organised and friendly race. Challenging hills with great scenery and local village atmosphere. Hats off to the cheery marshalls and nice touch with refresments and BBQ after. Loved it!

In short: A fantastic rural run which genuinely welcomes runners and supporters of all abilities. The bring your own food for the barbecue and opportunity to camp for free gives all the family an opportunity to enjoy a great day.
In full: My friend comes over from Monte Carlo to do this race so that must be saying something about this rural classic which is far from a stroll in the park - prepare yourself for a challenge but it will be worth it.

In short: Excellent, friendly fun in picturesque countryside.
In full: Really like the course - it's got a couple of quite big hills near the start, but then you get the really fast downhills to make up for them. Friendly and efficient organisation. I wasn't able to stay on afterwards, but wished I could because the smell of food cooking on the post-race BBQ was very tempting!

In short: Family friendly undulating challenge with a BBQ at the end
In full: I had forgotten how hilly this one was. But a lovely downhill finish this year made me forget the killer ups at the beginning of the race. A Saturday evening race with a BYO barbecue at the end and optional camping, this was a fun race for people who like a little hill-shaped challenge. I'll be back.

In short: Challenging, hilly, friendly, well-organised, no-frills race.
In full: My fourth year at Hornton - possibly my favourite race in the county. A challenging course on quiet country roads, followed by a barbecue on the village playing field make for a great evening out. Organisation faultless. The girls with the cow bells cheering us on at the top of the hill out of Horley were a nice touch - thanks, whoever you are! If you don't like hills and want to add to your collection of race momentoes, this isn't for you. Anyone else, come and give it a go next year! Thanks to all at Cherwell Runners & Joggers.
