In short: Excellent interesting course. Great organisation.
In full: Really enjoyed my first half marathon. Weather mixed, but added sense of achievement in completing it and doing a good time. I hope to be back!!

In short: Beautiful scenery, atrocious weather, well organised. A must do!
In full: Stayed the weekend in a local hotel with a walk around the town and a meal in the town centre in pleasant surroundings. Excellent race in atrocious weather, more than undulating definitely hilly. Excellent organisation. Some kind of showers or wash afterwards would be appreciated especially for those from outside town with a drive back home. Will definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone, perhaps trying to get it as a club outing!

In short: Scenic course and a good atmosphere despite the weather
In full: My 2nd Worksop half, completely different running conditions to last year when it sunny throughout. The hill at the start still seems daunting but after that there's a nice gentle flat section through the scenic Clumber Park. Crowd and marshalls were fantastic despite the changeable conditions this year. A new p.b for me 11 minutes faster then last year, maybe I should stick to running in the rain!

In short: My favourite half so far. Everything was fantastic!
In full: A great day, managed a PB. But it was the whole Worksop Half Marathon experience that made it. The route is fantastic, 8 miles in Clumber park, then the last mile down hill! The organisation was like clockwork for me, fantastic cup of tea at the Charity stall at the end. I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about this whole experience, the online entry and websites are even top draw. Even the rain came at the right time for me, cooled me down ready for the last few miles.
Well done to the organisers and marshalls. Definately back next year.

In short: Wet , hilly but fun (now that I've finished it)
In full: Did the race once before, forgot about the hills but remembered the rain. Well organised run, very scenic could have done without the downpour half way through.
