In short: The most fun I've had running since 1985
In full: From the beginning to the end this race was excellent. The organisation/marshalling from Bitton RR was very good, especiallty the advice that one marshall gave me before the last stream "it's shallower in the middle"......lol What made this race for me amongst many other things was on the highest section all you could hear was runners laffing their heads off [took me back to my old school days hence 1985] If you haven't run this race before and want to rekindle those childhood memories this is definatly a great place to start, can't wait for next year.

In short: well organised, cheap and brilliant atmosphere. What a contrast to the Bristol 1/2 marathon.

In short: Great fun
In full: Many thanks to the organisers for putting on such an excellent outlet for masochists like me and to the marshals for their freindly encouragement round the course. However, next year could they get a stairlift company to sponsor some assistance on the steepest bits! Finally, many thanks to all the compeditors for respectfully marking the minute's silence for Armistice Sunday prior to the start.

In short: Made me proud to run for Bitton Road Runners
In full: Well done Gordon Robbins and all of the people from Bitton Road Runners who put so much effort into making this race so incredible.

This race is unique, in that the Slog itself takes in amazing scenery whilst allowing you to do things that you would never normally do on a sunday morning - like running through rivers, drainage ditches and cow poo - as well as providing the most amazing organisation that I have seen for a race of this size.

Everything was spot on - I could not believe the Hot Tubs at the finish - amazing touch!!!

Made me proud (not for the 1st time) to run for Bitton Road Runners.

Thanks.
