In short: The way races should be
In full: This is how races should be.
Really enjoyed it, fantastic marshalling and organisation. Great course, quite challenging and I managed to knock 10 mins off my 2010 time.
The goody bag is the best I've had with a cuddly teddy bear and a snood both being quickly claimed by my two kids.
The organisers have done a cracking job with all credit due, this is the way to do a race.

In full: A lovely scenic route with mixed abilities the marshals were very supportive and the race was well organised! A bit disappointed with the goody bag but the race price was excellent and supported local charities! Thank you fora great race!

In short: Good race and well organised.
In full: Some more encouragement from some of the marshalls would have been nice. Traffic on the main roads in the early stages of the race felt a bit close. Sponges were a nice touch at the drinks stations, and very welcome on a warm morning.

In short: a nice steady enjoyable race, well organised, great weather. I'll be back!
In full: the route was brilliantly signed and had plenty of marshalls, but a little encouragement off the marshalls would have been appriciated - i think 4 clapped in total. the drinks stations were handy with sponges and water, but could have done with smaller paper cups - i thought i was been given a milkshake at one point and managed to get more water down my top than in my mouth (but maybe i'm being picky). awkward trying to find room to run until the country lanes - it would have been handy to have had the traffic stopped in one lane until we turned off the main route. but all in all very enjoyable, good course and i'll be back next year... with a straw!
