In short: 3rd year in a row, still my favourite race!
In full: Always a great race; well organised, friendly and a course which is challenging enough to test you but scenic enough and with enough local support to be good fun. 3rd year in a row I've nailed a PB on this course as well!

In short: Excellent Race, will be back
In full: This is well organised HM, support en route is great, even bowls of jelly babies being offered towards the end - just when you need them, perfect! My only bug bare is the flippin industrial estate, it makes me lose the will to live every time and then I struggle to get my mojo back for the last 3. Anyway - I got a PB this year so it can't have been that bad!

In short: Fast, mildly undulating, friendly course with excellent organisation - you'll see more of Stonehouse than Stroud!
In full: Crisp, cold, sunny weather made for perfect race conditions. Good parking, easy bag drop, ample toilets and hot showers. An on-time start and no congestion with a good level of local support and very well supported by local club runners - surely nothing could be wrong with this race? Thank heavens for the supporters at the Industrial Estate - not the ugliest Industrial Estate but surely there's a better way to add an extra mile to the course? The single file in places and traffic (even artics) mingling with runners was a negative, but overall another winner from Stroud & District Athletic Club

In short: Mildly undulating in places, lovely scenery in parts made even bet by the glorious weather. Industrial area would have been dull but the drummers made up for it. Well done Stroud for putting on a good race!

In short: Great flat(ish) race with excellent organisation and well supported
In full: This is a PB course all the way. The weather was fantastic and there was much better scenery that I thought there would be. A real good atmosphere.

In short: Not sure if I enjoyed it or not.....
In full: Fortunately I managed to park in car park next to the start as I didn't fancy driving aimlessly around Stroud and it made it very easy to just walk a few mins to the start. The first half of the race was lovely and scenic with great support and well-manned drinks stations. And the weather conditions were perfect. For me it all went a bit wrong during the various single file sections as I had a reasonable pace going (well for me anyway) but kept getting stuck behind slower runners and walkers so would have to accelerate quickly during a gap in the traffic or slow down behind them as lorries thundered past me. And after slowing down it's so hard to speed up again. The industrial estate was dull, but at least it was traffic free and the drumming band deserve a huge round of applause. It's more indulating than flat, but every uphill was immediately followed by a downhill so it didn't matter too much. The finish was great with lots of support and noise and easy to get out of quickly.

In short: Nice Sunday morning outing
In full: My second go at this race and nearly a PB. Not entirely flat but nothing really painful to combat. Organisation spot on, toilets improved over last year and to be honest, difficult to see any negatives.

Thanks to all those involved and to the many supporters around the course.

In short: Damn good race.
In full: Enjoyed this race. Everyone mentions the bleak industrial estate, well it made me run quicker to get out of it. Good marshalling rubbish policing as the local bobby sent me the wrong way. Hats off to the support enroute espically the high fives at about 12.5miles when i needed them" must have been students"
