In short: Even bad weather couldn't stop my enjoyment
In full: Thanks to the organisers, marshalls, drinks people and supporters. It must have been worse for you standing in the rain, than us running in it.
Really good to see Dame Kelly at the finish line. Smiling despite the weather, She really is an encouragement to all.
Disappointed with the 1hr30 pacer who was out of my sight in the first half mile, and not seen again despite me being on course for a 1hr30 finish up until 8miles (top of the hill).
Finishing time 1hr34, a minute quicker than last year.

In short: Fantastic - despite the weather!
In full: I was another one checking the website in the morning half hoping that the event would be cancelled but I am so glad it wasn't. The 1st time I have done this run and it was great, exceptionally well organised with a great race HQ where you could avoid the rain until the last minute. The volunteers and spectators round the course were very encouraging and deserve a big thank you for standing out in the rain all that time. It was nice to run a course where the roads were properly closed off and the goody bag at the end really was a 'goody bag'! See you next year.

In short: Fantastic - except for the weather
In full: This is the 1st TW 1/2 I have done and I loved it. Well organised, plenty of space to get changed out of the rain, well supported - especially with Kelly Holmes starting the race and then greeting each finisher (in the rain) - and presenting at the prize giving. Good Expo in the hall - will definately do this again, although maybe not in my Captain America outfit!
