In short: I'll be back soon!
In full: I would like to thank the member of the crowd who gave me booze at around ~20miles! ;-)

In short: A fabulous, unforgettable experience that I would do again in a heartbeat. All that training and blisters were worth every gruelling 5 hours and 9 minutes it took.

In short: Only my second competitive race. Really enjoyed the day and acheived the time I had hoped for.
In full: Was perfect weather, great atmosphere from both the runners and well wishers. If I ever need to train through those hard winter months again, my memory of this day will certainly be my motivation. I would recommend this race to anyone, however, make sure you put in the training! Made lots of new friends and finished under 4 hours! Everyone helps and motivates each other. Never experienced anything like this before.

In short: OUCH!!!
In full: The most incredible and painful experience of my life. An absolutely amazing atmosphere with the friendliest crowds watching and egging you on. Horrid being forced onto Horse guards parade at the end though when all you wanted to do was sit on some grass, which sort of spoiled the experience a bit. Would I do it again!? Maybe..!

In short: Awesome!
In full: An AMAZING day. Absolutely awesome. I've never experienced an atmosphere like it - running along (well, shuffling by that point!) the Embankment and Birdcage Walk surrounded by cheering people. Complete strangers calling out your name willing you on. What an experience. My first marathon and definitely not my last!

In short: FANTASTIC!
In full: What a wonderful day, the crowds were amazing. The only problems were the state of the toilets (unavoidable I think due to volume of people!) and the lack of lucozade at drinks stations for those at the back of the field, luckily I had taken my own.
